You can whip these up pretty fast, as it is all done on the stove top.

It’s sweet. It’s salty. And it’s perfect for a crowd.

So place a bowl out in your living room tomorrow or fill a jar and take it to your Super Bowl party!

Almonds

  • 3 cups raw almonds
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. water

Spice Mix

  • ¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup raw sugar or white sugar
  • 1 tsp. sea salt

Directions:

- In a large skillet, toast the almonds over medium heat for about 5 minutes. In a small bowl toss the spice mix together and set aside.

- In a microwave safe bowl, mix the brown sugar, honey and water. Microwave for about 1-2 minutes.  Stir and then pour over the almond mixture on the stove and stir together.

- Sprinkle the spice mix over the almonds and toss to coat. Spread on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet and cool.  If you want it chunky, let it cool and then break the almonds into chunks.
