My Family's Coffee Cake Recipe
This coffee cake recipe my mom has been making for years. It’s in the family cookbook I made for my siblings when I was in college. And it instantly brings me back to my childhood.
As I get older and start my own family, I crave the memories I have of my childhood years. I recreate them with my own children. It starts in the kitchen with my daughter Dylan. We bake my mom’s recipes that I used to make with her when I was younger. It’s so special!!!
I am also excited about this recipe because it is a part of a collaboration with over 35 other recipe developers for the winter e-cookbook "The Comfort We Find in Food". This cookbook will give 100% of the proceeds to the ACLU! The American Civil Liberties Union is a non-profit organization that has local offices across the U.S. working with attorneys and activists in their communities to shape better policies and spread awareness about their states’ priority civil rights issues. As an attorney myself, I love supporting this organization!
If you want to recipe, I ask that you donate to receive the e-cookbook and get this recipe plus many others! It’s a pay what you can, so whether you donate $5 or more, anything is greatly appreciated. Or if you can’t afford anything, be sure to reach out to me for information. These recipes are perfect for winter and the holidays! You can donate and receive the cookbook HERE.
I hope you enjoy this coffee cake as much as my family does!!!
